PUT SLUGGO-OX™ TO THE TEST

Instructions For Use                           video

1. Slide the Sluggo-Ox onto the 5/8” or 3/4” rod, rebar, pipe or other metal objects.
2. Begin to drive the rod by hitting the head of the Sluggo-Ox with the sledge hammer.
3. Continue to install the rod to the required depth.
4. When you are finished, remove the Sluggo-Ox for the next application.
5. Sluggo-Ox was designed with a flat bottom bore to preserve the head of each rod, rebar or other metal objects resulting in an easier installation of any type of connector, coupling or steel cap.

TIPS FOR INSTALLATION

STEP 1
Place the Sluggo-Ox on top of your grounding rod.
TIP: For best results use a small 4 foot ladder to stabilize the rod.
STEP 2
TIP: Use a 6 foot ladder to safely climb high enough and begin to drive the grounding rod by hitting the head of the Sluggo-Ox.
STEP 3
When the grounding rod is stabilized remove the
Sluggo-Ox and the stabilization ladder.

STEP 4
Replace the Sluggo-Ox on top of the grounding rod.
TIP: Use a 4 foot ladder to climb safely to the desired height.
STEP 5
Continue to drive the grounding rod to the required depth.
When you are finished, remove the Sluggo-Ox.
STEP 6
Place the acorn coupling over the rod and secure.
The Sluggo-Ox was specifically designed to preserve the head of the rod allowing easy placement of the acorn coupling.
